The Ready -Set – Draw workshop took participants through a series of quick 1 – 5 minute model drawing exercises led by Veronica Lawlor. This lively session was designed to quicken pulses and sharpen skills. The focus was maintaining subject integrity while drawing movement. Attendees were invited to capture the grace and feline grooving of model Sheila Starr Siani as she moved around the stage and throughout the room. The result was electric and Sheila quickly became a crowd favorite! Thanks to all who participated!
About the Presenter
Veronica Lawlor is a New Yorker, a freelance illustrator, and the president of Studio 1482. She also teaches drawing and illustration at Pratt Institute, Parsons, The New School for Design, and Dalvero Academy. Veronica is full of life and energy and she exudes these qualities both when she draws and when she teaches.
