Dr. Sketchy’s Marathon
Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles meets the first and third Sunday of every month.
To get 2010 off to an epic start, Baby Tattoo is producing a Dr. Sketchy’s Marathon that will run continuously for 26 hours beginning at 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 2nd and ending at 10:00 PM on Sunday, January 3rd. The event will be hosted at Nucleus, located at 210 E Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801. Attendees will be issued wrist bands that will allow them to come and go as they please.
Highlights will include a late night alla prima by enigmatic artist Michael Hussar, an early morning visit by the Mexican spitfire of burlesque Ruby Champagne, and a final stretch series of breathtaking poses by Bizarre magazine cover model Mosh.
Membership for the Dr. Sketchy’s Marathon (which is session 014) will require a donation of $35 at the door.
Age Requirement: 18+
Artists should bring their own art supplies. Photography is not allowed.
