Chelsea – 06/20/10

Chelsea La Vone had to cancel her appearance at our 1st anniversary celebration, but she rescheduled and rocked everyone’s sketch pad at Session 022. On June 20, she stepped onto the Dr. Sketchy’s stage and challenged a theater full of art monkeys to depict her spectacular breasts and her somber psyche at the same time. Let’s hope she’ll return for a repeat performance and let everyone see the polka dot panties that only the lucky backstage crew got to see the first time.

Photographer Karen Hsiao was also in the house, showing off an advance copy of her book Karen Hsiao: Rubber Duck. The book features a number of past and future Dr. Sketchy’s models, and is published by Baby Tattoo – the same company that produces Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles.
